Get excited to work with CLAY! With one pound of clay, Jennelle will walk you through the steps of using a wheel to create a vessel such as a bowl or planter. Then we will ad a wet glaze of one color to the piece. Jennelle will kiln fire your pieces and will be ready in about 2 weeks for pick up*. This will be a beautiful piece of art and food safe. If you love this class, please consider signing up for a session of 8 Weekly Classes!
If you have done this class before, you will still learn and can expand your skills!
Registration closes the day prior to the event. Please register well in advance as this class sells out quickly. We cannot do last minute sign ups due to instructor needing time to prepare materials for the event.
Starting Wednesday, February 28 (estimated through August), the 400 block of Walnut Street will be closed to all vehicle traffic until date of completion. The Art Room will be open to business as usual! You will have the ability to park in the lots north and south of Walnut Street and have walking access with the sidewalks.
If the sidewalk happens to be closed in front of The Art Room, we will have safe access through the back door of the studio (which can be accessed in the walkway on the south side of Sweet Sensations.) We will also let you know through the Remind App
Please take note of illustrated map here for your reference. Please be patient as beauty takes time. We are so excited about what this beautification means for our city!
