Who lives in a… Spaceship in the Milky Way? a… Tiki Hut on the beach? a… Castle in the Mountains? a…Pineapple under the Sea? a…Rainbow in the Sky? a…Treehouse in the Jungle? YOU get to decide!

You are invited to live in a TINY HOUSE this summer!

FIRST We will BUILD our tiny house (with simple instructions from IKEA!) using tools such as an Allen wrench and drill (with supervision from Mrs, Heather)

*RENO have you been to this camp before? Do you want to redecorate? Bring your house with you and you can tear down decor, scrap off glue while the other students are building their home!

Next we will PLAN our room design with simple sketches on paper (START THINKING OF WHAT YOUR HOME THEME IS BEFORE CAMP and bring any supplies you want from home:)

Then we will decorate our walls with paper or paint. Floors come next with tile or carpet.

Now it’s time for FURNITURE and DECOR! We will build or create furniture and decor out of cardboard, airdry clay or found object treasures (feel free to bring in “junk” treasures from old toys, jewels, nuts, bolts, etc. that you want to use or donate to the class room treasure boxes)

At The Art Room, we believe in creating a fun, safe space where creativity can thrive. Our studio is built on kindness, respect, and a shared love of making art.

Students must be able to work respectfully with others of varying ages, share materials, and follow studio expectations. Kindness and respect for peers, teachers, and the studio space are required at all times.

Our camps are not a babysitting service. Students should come prepared and motivated to actively participate in art activities. Our instructors are not able to manage significant or ongoing behavioral or social concerns, and it is not fair to other campers when a large portion of time is spent addressing behavior. Please speak to your child about behavior expectations before sending them to camp.

Thank you for helping us create a positive and creative experience for everyone!

We are an ECO Conscious Studio! Please do not bring one time use plastic bottles or sugary drinks. Students will have a short break to eat, so please feel free to pack snacks or a light lunch.
