Welcome, local ceramic artist, Lizzie Poovey, to the art room.

Get your hands dirty by making festive ceramic ornaments. This class is fun and informative. You will learn how to use slip, underglaze, anddecorative stamps. A wonderful activity to do with your family or make a personalized gift for your friends. Join us and make a new addition to your Christmas tree, a memory that will last years.

What to expect:

We will offer many cookie cutters and textures for you to choose from. You will receive a slab of off-white clay, and using that given clay, you can make as many ornaments as you would like. You will clean, cut, paint, and decorate your ornaments in one class only. This is a traditional clay that takes time to dry and fired in a high temperature kiln, this ensures that the clay has vitrified and is more durable.

We estimate them to be ready for pick up 2 weeks after the event. We will contact you to coordinate pickup.
